Conventional Batt Insulation

Conventional Batts or Blanket insulation is familiar to almost everyone. This option typically uses Fiberglass Batts although Rockwool or Recycled Cotton is also available but more difficult and expensive to use. Batts are installed in areas such as: ceilings, walls, and floors. This method does a GOOD job of maximizing your home’s energy efficiency and year round comfort level. It is very important to insulate all the areas of your home that are susceptible to air infiltration and heat transfer. You may also want to insulate some areas with Fiberglass Batts to create a GOOD sound barrier.
