Spray Insulation

The Spray application forms a BETTER barrier of insulation than conventional Batts. It does this by creating a continuous blanket of insulation in the wall / ceiling cavity. This includes filling in around wiring, plumbing, HVAC, and any framing inconsistencies.

There are 2 types of spray insulation, fiberglass and cellulose. Cellulose is “greener” with 100% recycled materials while fiberglass has 25% and performs better. Fiberglass, due to its longer fiber length, doesn’t crumble or fall out as cellulose is prone to do. Also, because both are wet sprayed their dry time is much longer with cellulose and if covered too soon can cause mold issues. However, under optimum conditions, both are far superior to conventional batt insulation.
